Vasili Varlamos | KBOI

Vasili Varlamos is a graduate from the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at Washington State University. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree, majoring in Broadcast News and Public Relations. The former Washington State Cougar is excited to start his journalism career in the Treasure Valley.

Growing up in Seattle, Varlamos always had a passion for storytelling. He acted as the sports editor for his high school newspaper for over two years and recently worked for the student-run Washington State University news broadcast Murrow News 8 as a reporter and an anchor.

Vasili’s favorite stories to report on involve any kind of legislature, sports or feature topics. Vasili is a huge sports fan as well. He loves cheering on his hometown Seattle Mariners and Seahawks, while hoping his beloved Supersonics will someday return to the Emerald City.
