One Stop Anime in Norman Oklahoma sells only legitimate items and hosts card game tornaments, they will even help local artists sell art and comics they have made. They also let you resale your anime as long as it is a legitimate product. They sell mostly anime, manga, and light Novels, but they also sell merch and have a small stock of figures and cosplay swords. The people at one stop anime will also preorder and order items for you so they are 100% worth the trip to visit! Or not they also have an online store, I have never ordered off of it but I do trust them to take my money and ship me an item!
Dragon home in the Norman Sooner mall This store sells only figures and merch but it is all bootlegs. I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the impressive figure wall at the back of the store but I quickly noticed it was a pile of bootlegs. they have hundreds of wall scrolls- more than likely pirated items as some of the scrolls had bad image quality. They stock some items that aren't copy righted- sake/tea sets, dish sets, sushi sets, chopsticks, and knives.
Anime City in Ardmore Oklahoma I was so excited for this store, it set up less than two blocks from my grandmothers home! When I first visited the new store it was nice, all the anime and manga was legit, however during my fifth visit I noticed that they had started selling bootleg dvds. They sell figures there as well their price makes me think they might be bootlegs, but they stock nicer looking bootlegs if that is the case making it harder to tell without direct comparison. Next time I go visit my family I'm going to compare the figures to the MFC database to make sure. the store is not a complete failure as they do sell mostly legitimate anime but their prices and stock of bootleg products does hurt its credibility.
I haven't heard of or had the chance to visit any other anime specific stores in Oklahoma but out of the three I have to say it is definitely worth the drive to visit One Stop Anime.
